What are services like?

We gather together once a week to worship God, pray together, hear the Bible preached, and celebrate that Jesus is alive! The service is one hour long, Pastor Manny preaches a Bible-based sermon, and the worship is often a blend of classic and contemporary worship.

Like most families, our church family has people who are formal and people who are informal. Whether you are wearing a suit or dress, or t-shirt and jeans, you will find lots of people dressed just like you.

Although we believe that the best Bible translation is the one you actually read, we use the Christian Standard Bible as a church family. We believe that the CSB Translation is both faithful to the original texts and easy to read. & share with first time visitors.  

At Logos, you will find CSB Bibles for you to use. If you are a first-time guest, feel free to take one as a gift from us!

We believe that faith comes from hearing the Word of God. Pastor Manny’s Bible-based preaching helps lead the rest of the church.  And while this might mean you’ll learn some things on how to be a better person, how to have a better marriage, or how to be more fulfilled in life—that’s not really the point.

Without Jesus, nothing matters. It’s because of Jesus that we can be a better person. Only Jesus can make a marriage better. And true fulfillment is only found in Jesus. This means we teach from the Bible, because the Bible is all about Jesus. Often we’ll go through books of the Bible, verse by verse, to show you what the whole Bible teaches and how it relates to Jesus.
