Jesus radically saved me in 2010. I was lost in sin, depression, and suicidal thoughts. A member from my grandmother’s church visited me and told me who Jesus is. He challenged me to leave my life in Jesus’ hands.
That changed my life. I believed in Jesus as my God and Savior. I immediately wanted to read the entire Bible and listen to sermons. Soon after I felt a calling to preaching and being a pastor (I had no idea what that meant). My pastor mentored me and led me through seminary at Iglesia Bautista West Brownsville. I love telling people about Jesus, preaching through books of the Bible, and training leaders.
I love my wife Karlita and our dog Sandy.

Juan & Primavera are missionaries originally from Toluca & Reynosa, in Mexico. God called them to prepare themselves theologically at Rio Grande Biblical Seminary where they learned about Baptist Student Ministry.
They have served on the UTRGV-Brownsville Campus for almost 6 years reaching students so they can be transformed into passionate disciples of Jesus.
